Simpson Desert, here I come!!

12 Sep

It’s all been a bit of a whirlwind but I’ve gone from counting the days to counting the hours – it’s all happening so fast! At 9:30 tomorrow morning my plane will leave from Sydney and I’ll be on my way with a bag of ultrarunning goodies to Alice Springs. Then it’s just a couple more short days until we set out with our convoy of support crew and vehicles and begin what will be possibly the most challenging thing I’ve ever done – running 660km across the red sands of the Simpson Desert in 15 days. That, or giving birth. But that’s another story – for when I know you all a bit better : )
